Emily Ann Hatch, age 79, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Hatch was a native and a long-time resident of Cedartown, Georgia and had been a resident of Long Beach for the past 9 years. She retired after many years from the Cedartown Goodyear and Tire Co. She enjoyed fishing and loved to watch her grandson play sports and perform in the Long Beach High School Band.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Thomas Hatch; her parents, Floyd Daniel Voyles and Mary Catherine Bell Voyles; and her sister, Patricia Jean Voyles Nichols.
Survivors include her son, Steven Thomas Hatch and wife, Julie; her pride & joy, grandson Cameron Mitchell Hatch, all of Long Beach; and two nieces, Connie Nichols LaBue and Page Ann Nichols Hawkins, both of Birmingham.
Friends are invited to join the Hatch family for visitation from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The funeral service and burial will take place in Cedartown, Georgia by Litesey Funeral Home.
