Elva Armour

Elva Joann Armour, age 74, passed away January 1, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Hawthorn; her granddaughter, Amber Gibson; and her son, Pete Armour.

Elva is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Harry Armour; her children, Rayford Perry (Payton), Renee Gibson, Ronald Perry, and George Armour; her siblings, Brian Hawthorn, Ralph Hawthorn, and Wayne Hawthorn; her grandchildren, Jason Gibson, Christina Gibson, Mark Gibson, Joshua Gibson, Tyler Berry, Nikolas Berry, Shannon McNew, Autumn Perry, Taylor Armour, Shanna Hawthorn, Steven Armour, Christopher Armour, and Derrick Armour; and great grandchildren, Dalton Allen, Dylan Allen, Audrey Casper, Lane Wallace, Colton Pritchard, Evangelynn Cline, Easton Berry, Jacelynn Gibson, Jaylin Storie, Danielle Storie, Landon Gibson, and Maylea Santos.

Mrs. Armour was a caregiver; she loved helping others. She enjoyed hobbies such as painting, crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 10:00am - 12:00pm, Friday, January 7, 2022, at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Baxterville, MS. The funeral service will be after the visitation at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
