Eloise Byrd Ballard, age 82, of Gulfport, passed away on July 20, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Paul Terrell; her second husband, James Franklin Ballard; and her brother, Cecil E. Byrd.
She is survived by her daughter, Joye Terrell of Gulfport, and her sister, Emma Jean Bookout of Saucier.
She was a member of the Mississippi City United Methodist Church; the Long Beach Yacht Club; the ladies Auxillary, VFW Post 2539, Gulfport; a friend of the Mississippi Coast Military Officers Association. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed her bridge friends immensely.
