Ellis Joseph """"E.J."""" Cuave, Jr, age 63, of Gulfport, passed away on Novemebr 2, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis J. Cuave, Sr and Minnie S. Cuave; his father in law, Donald Altstadt, Sr; and his nephew, Jason Altstadt.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty one years, Jeri L. Cuave, of Gulfport; his children, Steven J. Cuave and Brandy L. Thompson and her husband, Bryan, all of Gulfport, and Sherry J. Palmer and her husband, Kenneth, of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Bethany A. Thompson, Brittany E. Thompson, Deven W. Palmer, and Hailey F. Palmer; his mother in law, Mildred Altstadt, of Ft Calhoun, NE; and several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a retired bail bondsman, truck driver, and an avid fisherman and shrimper.
The visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Gateway United Methodist Church, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
