Ella Mae McLendon

Ella Mae McLendon, age 83, of the Daisy Vestry community, passed away at home peacefully on, Thursday, July 21, 2016. She had precious moments to spend time with her family and say her final goodbyes.
Ella Mae is survived by her son, Milfred ""Snip"" McLendon (Marsha); daughter, Dixie Eleuterius (Kevin); and her daughter in law, Theresa Suarez; step sisters, Eileen Gehrmann and Regina Conway Dies; step brother, Edward Conway; her grandchildren, Jonathan McLendon (Aimee), Janell Farrar (John), Timothy McLendon (Paige), and Jamie Jenner (Mike); her eight beautiful great grandchildren, Brooke, Carter, Liam, Cameron, Brayden, Wesley, Saylor, and Lillian Grace. Her life's joy was all of her grand and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Milfred F. McLendon; her father, Herman Conway; her mother, Opal Smith (Perry); and her step brother, David Conway.
Throughout her retired years, when not spending time with family and friends, Ella Mae loved her flowers and spending time in her yard.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Allsion Wall, Linda Sprately, Sandra Andrews, Birdie Mae Nell, Pete Wilson and Becky Ann Fore for the special love and care given to Ella Mae.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 25, 2016, at First Baptist Church Biloxi, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be two hours prior in the church sanctuary.
Burial will follow at Wilkerson Cemetery in the LaRue community.
