Ella Mae Ladner

Ella Mae Shavers Ladner, 84, of Pass Christian, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleyton Ladner; a son, Kirby Ladner; her mother, Georgian Shavers; her father, Tilton Shavers; her siblings, Rebecca “Bill” Mason, John “Jim” Shavers, Willie Cuevas, William “Sonny” Shavers, Daisy “Et” Barrale; and Helen Ladner; a grandson, David Scarborough; and a great grandson, Sawyer Scarborough.

She is survived by her children, Timmy Ladner (Marcie), Laney Ladner (Angela), Regina Scarborough (Brian), Stacy Ladner (Deanne), and Kirk Ladner (Christy); her grandchildren, Chris Ladner (Nina), Brittany Skok (Brad), Morgan Ladner, Jade Ladner, Dustin Lizana, Destany Viars (Bryan), Jarren Lizana (Cassie), Rebecca Broussard, Raegan Ladner, Chelse Ladner, Bailey Ladner (Brennan Hoda, Jr.), Sean Storey, Justin Carver, Kaden Ladner (Karina), and Kolton Ladner; 28 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ladner was a resident of Pass Christian, Mississippi. She worked as a school bus driver for more than 20 years and worked in the cafeteria at Pass Christian School District.  She enjoyed taking care of her family and going to garage sales. 

The family would like to thank Tammie Cuevas for all she has done while taking care of Ella Mae.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ladner, Jarren Lizana, Kaden Ladner, Brennan Hoda, Jr., Raeden "Cale" Ladner, Breyton Hoda, Mason Lizana, and Sean Storey. Honorary pallbearers will be Revyn Moran, Blantyn Viars, and Blayton Viars.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 9 - 11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.  The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
