Ella Denning Dulcich

Ella May Denning Dulcich, 80, a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS lost her battle with Alzheimer's February 4th, 2015. Ella was born May 12th 1934 in Burlington County New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron Van der Grift Denning, Jr. and Ella Stevenson Denning, her sisters Ida Woeller, Florence Kauffman, Reba Ridgeway, and Laura Durham and her brothers Joseph Crowley and Byron Vandergrift 'Skip' Denning III. Ella lived a full and productive life in Gulfport. She loved to garden and watch the beautiful native birds. She retired from South Central Bell Telephone Co.
She is survived by her husband, Francis Anthony (Tony) Dulcich, Sr. and 5 children; Patricia Ann Dulcich Goodspeed of Baton Rouge, La., Linda Faye Dulcich Frommer of Asheville, NC, Julie Lynn Dulcich Pflug and Herman Dean Pflug of Orange Park, FL, Penny Sue Dulcich and Alan Smith of Walters, OK and Francis Anthony (Tony) Dulcich, Jr. of Joelton, TN her brothers Elwood 'Woody' Crowley of NJ and Howard 'Mopey' (Margie)Crowley of The Villages in FL and her best friend in care, Peter J Clare of Joelton, TN . She was a loving wife, mother and 'Nanny' and is survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The last years of her life she lived with Tony, Sr. at Woodland Village Nursing Center in Diamondhead, MS. Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff who cared for Mom during this time and also Southern Care hospice for making her transition to life eternal such a comfortable one.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February10 from 1 until the funeral service at 2pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
