Elizabeth O'Brien New, age 68, of Gulfport, died in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and William O'Brien, Sr.
Survivors include her siblings, Laura, Mary Marti, William O'Brien and Margaret; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a native of New Orleans, LA. She was born there on July 27, 1938. she was a very loving and giving person. She loved life and very much loved animals. She also had love and affection for the children of St. Jude Hospital. She leaves many happy memories with her family.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Harrison County Sherriff's Department for their help during this time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Human Society of South MS, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 1-2pm at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi. An online guestbook may be signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
