Elizabeth Fokakis Marodis passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on the afternoon of Monday, October 11, 2010, in Biloxi. She was 89.
A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she was born to Arthur and Irene Stamoulis Fokakis on the 17th of March 1921, on the Island of Patmos, Greece.
Mrs. Marodis was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Gus Marodis.
She is survived by her children Mary Benbow, Nick Marodis, Ted Marodis, Steve Marodis, and Michael Marodis; six grandsons, and one granddaughter.
The funeral service will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon, on Saturday, the 16th of October at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 255 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. Friends and family are invited to visit at the church from 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi

Elizabeth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her passion. She will remain in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
