Elizabeth Clower

Elizabeth (Liz) Jordan Clower, born June 18,1935, died October 11, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Freeling H. Clower, her daughter Stephanie Suzanne Johnson Newberry, parents T. H. (Buster) Jordan and Pearl Elizabeth Jordan, and siblings Billie June Jordan, Aubrey Hugh Jordan, Billy Reese Jordan, Kay Frances Jordan Nuncio.
She is survived by her children and stepchildren, Karen Elizabeth Cameron (Andy Boehmer), Kathy Lynn Petty (Jerry), C. Andrew Johnson (Kim), Free Clower (Betty), Terry Clower, and Randy Clower; twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Miz Liz was an accomplished seamstress, brilliant quilter, successful businesswoman, world traveler, and as close as one can be to a pilot without having to land the plane! A devoted wife, good momma, doting nana and loyal friend, she laughed often, liked to cook, to dine out and to shop. Her sense of humor was dry and her heart was warm. She loved silk, shoes, hats and fine perfume, and she passed those passions to her children and grandchildren. She tolerated much with the exception of hamsters, waterbeds and tangled hair.
Gifts maybe made in her memory to First United Methodist Church, Gulfport, 2301 15th Street, Gulfport, Mississippi 39501.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Gulfport where family and friends may visit from 3:00 PM until the service. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Little Bethel Memorial Park, Duncanville, TX.
