Elsie Bernice Sund, 77, of Biloxi died on Sunday, April 6, 2008 in Biloxi .
Mrs. Sund was born in Canada and moved to the United States in the 1940's. She was a homemaker and enjoyed ceramics, bowling, gardening, crossword puzzles and baking for family gatherings. She also enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves.
Mrs. Sund is preceded in death by her parents, John and Esther Fredlund Clare; her husband, Robert L. Sund; her brother, Harold Clare; and her sisters, Ruth Clare and Freida Movan.
She is survived by her children, Linda D. Boykin of Ocean Springs, Robert M. Sund and his wife Donna of Biloxi, Steven J. Sund and his wife Tami of Biloxi, and Douglas A. Sund of Gulfport; her sister, Marlene Harris of Comox Canada; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her pet companion, Sammy.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery with the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd. in charge of the arrangements.
