Eleanor Rose Marsh

Eleanor Rose Willison Marsh, 90, died Thursday, January 30, 2025, in Waveland. Mrs. Marsh was a native of Stark Township, Ohio, and a long-time resident of Waveland, MS. She was an active parishioner of St. Clare Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 1522, American Legion Post 77, and the Waveland Civic Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert “Jay” Marsh, Jr and son, Earl James “Jim” McArthur, Jr.

 She is survived by her brother, Thomas Stowe, her children, Marie Therese Klipfel (Mike), Angela Shaffer, Allison Wills, and Jason McArthur (Aimee), and her stepchildren, Skip Marsh, Thomas Marsh (Charlene), and Christina Preston (Steven). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christoper Klipfel, Dustin Klipfel (Lori), Jessica Ferrell (Lance), Daysja Terry (Chris), Madison Wills, Jack Wills, Dezerin Charlot, Brandy Shaffer, Sierra McArthur, and Ava McArthur, as well as her great-grandchildren, Dezi Charlot, Lucas Charlot, Parker Shaffer, Aspen Shaffer, Fiona Ferrell, Vincent Ferrell and Elina Terry. Lastly, she is survived by her furry companion, “Kitty”.

 Family visitation will be at St. Clare Church from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with open visitation and a full mass following. Repass will immediately follow at Eleanor’s home at 108 Lakeside Drive in Waveland. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Eleanor’s name to St. Jude or the charity of your choice.
