Eldon """"Boba"""" Joseph Cuevas, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in Gulfport, MS. He was born in Lyman, MS and was a resident of the Lizana Community.
He is preceded in death by his parents Oville and Ella Cuevas, a daughter Cheryl Crayden and six brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Beryl Ann Cuevas; five daughters, Merle Love and husband Milas of Madisonville, LA, Judy Padron and husband Ricky of Kiln, MS; Marjorie Reed and husband Randy of Mobile, AL, son-in-law, Richard Crayden and wife Susan of Saucier, MS, Pamela Thomas and husband Kipper of Gulfport, MS; Veronica Albert and husband Josh of Gulfport, MS; 13 grandchildren, LCPL Jerry Padron, Zachary Thomas, Todd Padron, William Crayden, Shawn Reed, Joshua Thomas, Wesley Crayden, Matthew Reed, Maya Love, Ethan Albert, Emily Albert, Myles Love and Sarah Thomas; and one sister, Alberta Ferguson of Lizana.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for their care and concern by the physicians and staff of Garden Park Hospital. A very special thank you to Dr. Nynon Marshall who was a very special friend and physician for many years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49 N Gulfport.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lizana. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
