Elbert Ray

Mr. Elbert Arnell Ray, 94, of Long Beach, passed away May 6, 2007, in Gulfport.
He was born in High Point, Mississippi and moved to Long Beach with his family in 1927. He was a Long Beach High School graduate, a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach and a WWII veteran.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years Lucille Ray; sons David A. Ray and his wife Betty Ray of Long Beach and Ronald Ray and his wife Sheila Ray of Biloxi; grandchildren Sharon Ray of Long Beach, David Ray, Jr. of Long Beach, Jennifer Ray of Long Beach and Robly Langlinais his wife Brandy and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in his honor at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 12 noon. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Long Beach Building Fund, 20144 Pineville Road, Long Beach, MS 39560 or Odyssey Hospice, 9414 Three Rivers Road #3, Gulfport, MS 39503.
