Elaine Hermoine Duncan

Elaine Hermoine Duncan, age 89 and a resident of Biloxi, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Duncan was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She retired from MS Gulf Coast Junior College - Jeff Davis Campus, where she was the Department Chair of General Studies. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, and years ago she was in the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Duncan; and a daughter, Barbara Elaine Duncan.
She is survived by her two children, Helen M. Barner, and James W. Duncan, and his wife Denise, of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren: Melissa Dickson and her husband Marc, Bradley Duncan, and Gregory Duncan and his wife Megan; and one great-grandchild: Taylor.
The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Interment will be private at a later date in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
