E.G. Twine

Eulyess Genesis, ""E.G."" Twine, age 81, of Long Beach, died July 11, 2011.
E.G. was born December 7, 1929 in Tyner, NC to Leslie E. Twine and Cliffie Boyce Twine. E.G. was in the Navy during the Korean War and learned to be a boxer while serving. He was a one of a kind man who believed in the Bible and worked hard at any job he took on. He worked at Reynolds Aluminum and in later years he was an entrepreneur, and his businesses included making smoked meats.
He was preceded in death by his son, George Thomas Breland, and siblings, Robert, Elmer, Gladyce, Jean, Virginia and Dorothy.
Survivors include his six immediate children, Rebeckah Elizabeth Taylor, Samuel Timothy Twine, Rachel Eshter Green, Naomi Ruth Leming, Dawn Sanders and Dana Gillis; two siblings, James Wilbur Twine and Margerate Elliot Twine; sister-in-law, Louise Twine; grandchildren, Angie, Sarah, Buddy, Stephen David, Tanya, Teena, Daniel, Erin, Robin, Gary and Robert; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11am to 12 Noon, Friday, July 15, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The funeral procession will leave at 12:10 pm for the Graveside Service at 12:30 pm at the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
