Effie J. Bergeron

Effie J. Bergeron, age 72, of Gulfport, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Bergeron was born in Poplarville, MS and was a long time resident of the Gulfport area. She was a member of the Christian Worship Center in Gulfport and was retired from the Colonial Bakery. She was really dedicated to her church and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Minnie Johnson, two daughters, Karyn and Deborah; a granddaughter, Jennifer; a great grandson, Ethan; three brothers, Doyle, Bobby, and Brainard; a sister, Betty; and stepmother Daisy. She is survived by her husband, Mike Bergeron of Gulfport; three children, Tereasa Brooks of Pass Christian, Kimberly Steiner of Woolmarket, and Wayne Stanford (Jamie) of Long Beach; by her grandchilddren, Jami, Dustin, Jeremy, Mikie, Kevin, Karyn, Chad, Cameron, and Chelsea; by her great grandchildren, Dillan, Aiden, Kayla, and Abby.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009, from 6pm until 9pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Christian Worship Center on Third Ave., Gulfport. Friends may also call at the church after 11am Saturday. Burial will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
