Edwina Alliston

Edwina Alliston, age 94, of Saucier, went to be with her Lord on August 21, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clark Alliston, Jr; and infant child, Cecil Alliston; her parents, Elijah and Hattie Scarborough; and a brother, Curtis Scarborough.
Survivors include her children, John Clark Alliston, III (Judy), Edwin T. Alliston, Janet E. Saucier (Larry "Bud"), Sharon Sumrall (Mike), and Naomi Cobb (Cleve); 13 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Edwina "Maw Maw" Alliston was a woman of meekness, kindness, goodness, and faith with a love for God and a complete devotion to her family.  She was an example of pure love and Godliness to all who knew her.  Although she has passed from this earth, her legacy will continue for generations to come through the lives of her family and the countless souls she touched along the way.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 2 - 3:30 pm at Saucier Holiness Church, 18017 N Bond Rd. Saucier, MS.  The funeral service will be at 3:30 in the church.  Burial will be in Rouse Cemetery.
