Edwin C. "Ed" Ellzey

Edwin C. ""Ed"" Ellzey, age 82, of Gulfport, passed away on January 9, 2010 in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Ellzey.
Ed is survived by his wife, Katie Jo Ellzey of Gulfport; two children, Charles Ellzey and his wife, Beverly, of Daphne, AL and Danny Ellzey and his wife, Tina, of Diamondhead; six grandchildren, Brooke Ellzey, Brandon Ellzey, Andrew Ellzey, John Ellzey, Rachel Ellzey, and Joshua Ellzey and his wife, Lacy; and one great grandchild, Andrew Ellzey.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a civil service employee at Keesler Air Force Base for many years. He was of the Baptist faith, loved to fish, and was a devoted husband and father.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM where family and friends may visit from Noon until 1:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
