Edwin "Ed" H. James

Edwin “Ed” H. James, 85, of Biloxi, MS passed away on October 22, 2023 at his home with his loving wife by his side.  He was born on February 5, 1938 in Clarksdale, MS to the late Bryce & Bernice James.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Edwin Scott James; and brother, Bryce James Jr.

Ed enjoyed exploring the outdoors and tending to his yard.  He would always help those in need and could give the shirt of his back.  Ed spent his career with the United States Navy and retired after over 20 years of service.  Ed attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joyce James; daughter, Lynda (Steve) Henry; grandson, Christopher Henry; siblings, Bob (Judy) James, and Susan Ricardo.  Ed also leaves behind a niece, two nephews, friends, and extended family to cherish his memory.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Biloxi National Cemetery with Full Military Honors (400 Veterans Blvd, Biloxi).  Riemann Funeral Home- Biloxi Chapel is assisting the family.
