Edwin Dick

Edwin "Sonny" Dick, age 82, of Laurel, formerly of Ocean Springs, passed away on February 18, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dotsie and Maybelle Dick; a sister, Bobbie Dick; and an infant child.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Sue Thomas Dick; his children, Joe Richards (Laura), Wayne Nicols (Sharon), Denise Bylund, and Terri Dick; a sister, Doris Ladner; a step-son, Allison Thomas (Michelle); 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dick served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a police officer and as a security guard in the gaming industry.  He was an avid reader.
A memorial service will be at 2 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2019 with a visitation for family and friends from 1:00 PM until the service, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, at Washington Ave. in  West Jackson County.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of South Mississippi
