Edward W. Varnell, 83, of Biloxi passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010.
Mr. Varnell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annie Grace.
He is mourned by his children and their families, daughter Debra Fahey and her children, Amanda and Spencer; son Steven Varnell and his wife Antonia along with their children Steven and Vanessa.
Mr. Varnell was a retired military veteran having served in the US Navy during WWII. He re-entered the military in the US Air Force and retired in 1970. He then became a special agent for the Office of the Inspector General, USDA before completing his duty to his country in 1983.
He spent the remainder of his life completely dedicated to his family, friends, and church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be private. Interment will take place at Biloxi National Cemetery.
