Edward Brown """"Red"""" Rowles, 83, of Wiggins, formerly of Long Beach, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 in Hattiesburg.
Mr. Rowles was a native of Washington, DC and had been a resident of the coast for 39 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force where he retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He also worked for The Bureau of Marine Resourses for the State of Mississippi. He was an avid golfer and of the Presbyterian faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Rowles and his parents, Edward M. and Edna Mallary Rowles.
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Ann Rowles, Diamondhead, 2 brothers, William Rowles, Fall Church, VA and Thomas Rowles, Richmond, VA.
Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2006 from 12 - pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Three Rivers Road Chapel, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
