Edward R. """"Bud"""" Morris, age 80, of Brandon, MS passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007 in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Morris was a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a World War II Veteran. He retired from South Central Bell. In 1984 he drove the truck sponsored by Bellsouth/South Central Bell for the Olympics Relay Torch.
Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Morris. Survivors include his son Ray Morris and his wife Dana; three grandchildren Nicholas Morris, Shelbie Morris, and Madalyn Morris; and his sister Dorothy Brand.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Coalville United Methodist Church with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Coalville Cemetery in Woolmarket, MS. The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
