MSgt. Edward Michael Aucoin (USAF-Retired), age 89, passed away on July 16, 2021 in D'Iberville, Mississippi.
He was born in Donaldsonville, LA in 1932, and has been a longtime resident of D'Iberville, since the 1960's.
MSgt. Aucoin served two consecutive tours of duty in the Korean War for the United States Air Force, followed by a second career of civil service as a Master Instructor at Keesler Air Force Base. He completed 38 years of devoted service to the United States. He was a kind and generous man and lived a very giving life. He supported several charities, including the Covington Nun's Boys School.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oneal and Noalie Aucoin, and his wife of 50 years, Margaret Ogden Aucoin.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Mary Masters, Mike Aucoin, Jr., Judy Blake; step-daughter, Linda Monte; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth. Theresa, Michael, Dustin, Jessica, Jenna, Dawn; 11 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Madison, Connor, Lilly, Kaleb, Kaiden, McKenzie, Ramsey, Jacob, Hunter, Hannah; one great-great grandchild, Rory; and his beloved puppy, Baby.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with visitation starting at 10:00 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. West Jackson County. Burial will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
