EO1 Edward Charles Fredrickson, U.S. Navy, Ret., age 65, of Gulfport, passed away on July 16, 2015, in Mobile, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Paul Fredrickson Alta Bramer Fredrickson, Laverne Leroy Fredrickson, Donovan Duane Fredrickson, and Janice Emilson.
Survivors include his loving wife, JeriAnn Fredrickson, a daughter, Natasha Fredrickson Rutherford (Blane) Douglas, his siblings, Russell (Connie) Fredrickson, Fred (Lisa) Fredrickson, Lawrence (Zetta) Fredrickson, Harland Fredrickson, Ronald Fredrickson, Helen (Patrick) Ward, Shirley (James) Atkinson, and Barbara Dalato, his loving friend, Inez Moore, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He served in the U.S. Army and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he retired with the rank of EO1. He was an active and loyal member of TOPS MS-0214, Biloxi and loved fixing lawnmowers and helping people. He was a loyal volunteer at Feed My Sheep. He loved all types of animals.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 20, 2015, from 6 - 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 11 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Feed My Sheep2615 19th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501 or The Humane Society of South MS, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.
