Edward Daniel "Eddie" Boykin, age 74 of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018.
Mr. Boykin was born in New Orleans to Joseph Clyde Boykin, Sr. and Miriam Norma Ybos Boykin. He was a longtime resident of the Coast where he worked as a machinist, among other trades.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Elizabeth Boykin; and his grandson, Kyle Schultz.
He is survived by his children, Edward Everette Boykin (Krystal), Janis Marie Atwood (Bryan), and Daniel Joseph Boykin (Carol); brother, Clyde Boykin (Janis); grandchildren, Kenneth, Emily, Dustin, Todd, Kara, and Jason; and numerous great grandchildren and extended family.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018, at Campground Baptist Church, 20577 Highway 53, Gulfport, at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
