Mr. Edward Louis Bourdin, Jr., age 52, resident of Vancleave, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011.
Mr. Bourdin was born in Gulfport and had been a resident of the Coast all of his life. He graduated from Gulfport East High School and MGCCC. He worked at the Grand Casino in Biloxi in the Engineering Department. He enjoyed gardening and thought of his dogs as his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Louis Bourdin, Sr.; and his uncles, Jimmy Bourdin, and Tommy Hauer.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Claire Bourdin of Gulfport; sister, Jamie Bourdin Hobbs (Howie) of Gulfport; aunts, Betty Ashman (Lee), Jean Haver, and Mary Bourdin; and nieces, Haley and Alicia Claire Hobbs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011, in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Mausoleum.
