Staff Sgt. Edward Willis Arnold, U.S. Army, retired, age 80, of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010, in Biloxi.
Mr. Arnold was born in Tacoma, WA to Numa Arnold and Margaret Pratt Sacha. He retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He worked at the commissary at Keesler after military retirement and was a member of Beauvoir United Methodist Church. He enjoyed games and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Arnold; his parents; and sister, Nora Whorbey.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Grace Arnold of Biloxi; sons, Raymond Brimer of Macon, MO, and Randolph Brimer of Liberty, MO; daughters, Roxanne Kile of Kansas city, KS, and Enola Arnold of WA; sisters, Geneva Burlington of Orting, WA, and Betty Whorbey of Tacoma, WA; 5 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Beauvoir United Methodist Church at 12:45 p.m.
Burial with full military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
