Edna Louise Gentry Wilson

Edna Louise Gentry Wilson went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday February 11, 2012.
Edna was born June 21, 1920 out from New Albany, Mississippi. She attended Elementary and High School at Baldwyn, Miss. She was a graduate of Delta State Teacher College. Edna was a member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport where she taught ladies Sunday School Classes for many years. Edna served on many Committees of the Church. Edna taught Elementary Education for 28 years in Gulfport City Schools.
Edna was preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas Dalton Gentry and Jenny Mae Gentry. She was also preceded in death by six brothers, J.P. , Paul, Lamar, Moffitt, Thomas, and Charles.
Edna is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Herbert (Coach) Wilson; her three sons Charles Thomas Wilson (Ann) of north Georgia; Herbert Wayne Wilson (Sabra) of Saucier, Mississippi; and Dr. James Allen Wilson (Roxanne) of Florida. She is also survived by one brother, Curtis Gentry (Kate) of Gulfport and 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from five until seven o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 15th of February, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The Funeral Service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning, with a visitation thirty minutes prior, on Thursday, the 16th of February, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Gulfport, 12190 Hwy 605 Gulfport. The interment is to immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
