Edna Tillman

Edna "Pam" Tillman, age 93, of Gulfport, passed away on May 1, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Bruce Tillman; her father, William J. Hankins; and her mother, Edna Hankins.

Mrs. Tillman is survived by her son, R. Bruce (Leah) Tillman; her siblings, William "Billy" Hankins, Joan Eckholdt, Theresa Casey, and Claudette Villalobos; 4 grandchildren, Gregory Tillman, Robert Tillman, Denise Zaraya, and Brad Siedner; 4 great-grandchildren, Jesse Tillman, Lily Tillman, Joseph Zaraya, and Sadie Zaraya; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Tillman was a native of New Orleans and was a graduate of McMain High School Class of 1945. She was a resident of Gulfport since 1960 and she retired from Hancock Bank. She was a faithful parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and St. James Catholic Church. Mrs. Tillman was active in the church serving as a lay minister visiting the homebound and participating with her prayer group.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 7, 2021, from 11 am - 1 pm at St. James Catholic Church, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm in the church. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Alzheimer/Dementia research.
