Edna E. Miller Moran, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012.
She retired from Lizana Elementary in the Harrison County School District and she was an active and lifelong member of Gulf Haven Mennonite Church. Mrs. Moran enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Moran, Sr., and her parents, Milferd and Florence Miller.
Survivors include her children Linda S. Swilley (Luther), Perkinston, Evelyn F. Fritts, Gulfport, Charles M. Moran, Jr. (Rebecca), Gulfport, Wanda L. Walker (J.T. ""Bud""), Gulfport, and Elise Rester (Mike), Poplarville, 1 brother, Frank Miller, and a sister, Sue Williams, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, January 16, 2012 from 12:30 - 2 pm at Gulf Haven Mennonite Church on Mennonite Rd. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the church.
Interment will be Gulf Haven Cemetery.
