Edna D. Hodge, age 95, and a longtime resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009 in Birmingham, AL
Mrs. Hodge was a registered nurse and worked for 20 years at the Gulfport VA Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Gulfport, and a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Hodge was preceded in death by her husband, T.U. Hodge, and her sister, Irene Parker.
She is survived by her children, Tom S. Hodge and his wife, Kit, of Trussville, AL and Don Hodge and his wife, Shirley, of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Donnie Hodge of Dakota Dunes, SD, Danny Hodge of Gilbert, AZ, Amanda Roberts and her husband, Jim, and Matthew Hodge and his wife, Christine, all of Trussville, AL; and her great grandchildren, Ian and Grant Roberts, Zachary, Gabriel, and Emily Hodge, and Sophia and Cecilia Rose Hodge.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2009 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Floral Hill Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
