Edith K. Stringer, 91, of Gulfport passed away April 6, 2011 in Gulfport. Mrs. Stringer was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on June 13, 1919.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Stringer, Sr.; daughters, Patricia Matthews and Carleen Slusser; sister, Mable Tinnon; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Katherine Bell Slusser, Carl E. Stringer, Jr., Carolyn Sue Kohl, and Stephen Wayne Stringer; twenty grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 11148 Klein Road, Gulfport, MS.
Burial will follow at Conn Cemetery, Long Beach, MS.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport assisted the family with arrangements.
