Edith Phillips

Edith Phillips, age 88, of Gulfport, died on March 15, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Maude Heiderhoff; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Robert Phillips and his wife, Melissa, of Pearland, TX; nieces, Ann Garner of Birmingham, AL, Patsy Williams, and Kay Addison; nephews, Raymond Williams and his wife, Barbara, of Slidell, LA, and niece Susan Petty of Dallas; Randall Williams, and Finis Williams and his wife, Noree; her special friends and extended family, Ray Alston, Catherine Wilkerson, Darren, and Terry; and her close friend, Susie Stepp; numerous nieces, nephews; grand nieces and nephews; and great grand nieces and nephews.
She was of the Catholic faith and involved with AARP. She loved horseracing, sports, and was an excellent athlete in her younger years, especially as a tennis player. She loved a good time. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
