Edith Krock

Edith C. Krock, age 96 of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. She was born on January 14, 1921, in Saucier, MS, to the late T.M. and Lizzie Mae Collins.
She was a lifetime member of Burton Memorial United Methodist Church, Gulfport, where she served as secretary and was a faithful member of the choir. She was a loving wife and mother who always made her family laugh.
In addition to her parents, Edith was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Krock; brother, Paul Wallace Collins; daughter, Judy A. Mitchell; and grandson, James "Jimbo" McPartland.
Mrs. Krock is survived by two daughters, Linda Carter and Lori Dollar (Perry); son-in-law, O.G. Mitchell; grandchildren, Janet Stevens (Mark), Pam Chiniche (Savie), Cynthia Williams, Kim Ladner (Keith), Nathan Dollar (Layla), Ricky L. Dollar and Aaron Dollar; and great grandchildren, Landon Williams, Alicen Jackson, Ricky A. Dollar, Katie Dollar, Dakota Chiniche, Ethan Dollar and Chloe Dollar.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Monday, June 12, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport, to follow.
