Edith Harris

Edith Harris, age 74, of Gulfport, passed away on January 18, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur ""Shorty"" Pittman and Ruth Pittman, a brother, Don Pittman, 2 sisters, LaVita Wilson, and Helen Shrumm, 3 brothers-in-law, Richard Shrumm, Dennis Grubb, and Richard Grubb.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Charles A. Harris, 3 daughters, Pamela J. (Buddy Lyons) Harris, Robin L. (Michael) Gooch, and Tina C. (Cecil) Spencer, a sister, Nadine (Fred) Bucher, 6 grandchildren, Kristen (William) Foy, Melinda Gooch, Bethany Lyons, Dillon Spencer, Corey Lyons, and Rylee Spencer, a great-grandchild, Brooklyn Magann, a brother-in-law, Ed Wilson, a sister-in-law, Gracie Pittman, and her in-laws, Edgar (JoAnn) Grubb, Wilmer (Glenda) Grubb, Roger (Geneva) Little, and Delores Foley, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Mrs. Harris enjoyed working outside in her yard and garden and she had a special love for children.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, from 6 - 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 am on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Biloxi National cemetery.
