Edith ""DeDe"" Duggan, 98, born in New Orleans, LA on November 17, 1912, passed away on April 26, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Edna Wiese; husband Mack Duggan; sisters, Irma Ladner, Ednamae Wehle; and her nephew Mark Wehle.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Kenneth and Janice Ladner (her caregivers for 7 years), Gulfport; Roger (Carolyn) Ladner, Long Beach; Gaynelle (Wayne) Saucier, Gulfport; Kurt Wehle, Falls Church, VA; Elaine Nunnally, Leesburg, VA; and Dian (Richard) Zaidan, Fredericksburg, VA; 14 great-nieces and nephews, and 11 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Our aunt was greatly loved and adored by all her family and many friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Driftwood Nursing Home for the loving care and concern given to our aunt during her stay there. Also we wish to thank the nurses on 5th Floor and Odyssey Hospice Unit at Memorial Hospital for their excellent care of our aunt in her final days there.
The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
