Earlene Cuevas Kornman, age 64, of Diamondhead, passed away on Thursday, March 06, 2014.
Mrs. Kornman was born in Hancock County to Rufus J. and Margaret Necaise Cuevas. She was the former owner of Earlene's Flower Cottage in Waveland and was instrumental in the upkeep and operation of St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou. She was an artist and enjoyed painting and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Kornman of Diamondhead; children, Connie Duprey Gipson and Scottie Duprey, both of Kiln, and Paula Rogers, Charlene Young, and Chuck Kornman; mother, Margaret Necaise Cuevas; siblings, Berlyn Cuevas and Garland Cuevas, both of Kiln; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the family tomb at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
