Dwight Braxton, age 56, of Saucier, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Braxton was a native of Marianna, FL and lived most of his life on the coast. He was one of the owners/operators of North Wind Fabrication, Inc. and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Lyman. Mr. Braxton enjoyed antique cars, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandson Braxton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Braxton, and 2 sisters, Sis Raines and Theresa Braxton.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kayleen """"Kay"""" Braxton, Saucier; his daughter, Jode Braxton-Hignight and her husband Brad, Gulfport; a special grandson, Braxton Hignight; his mother, Willie Donovan, Cottondale, FL; brothers and sisters: William, Byron, Joe, J.L., Neal, and Michael Braxton, Ann Knowlton, and Nancy Webb; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and close friends who were like family members; and an unborn grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2007 from 6 - 9 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be 2:30 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
