William E. """"Dub"""" Garner, Jr., 61, resident of Gulfport, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in Gulfport.
Mr. Garner was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and owned and operated Garner Backhoe Service for 30 years. He enjoyed working and playing music.
Mr. Garner is preceded in death by his parents, William and Erma Gunn Garner and a stepson, Skip Langston.
He is survived by his wife, Charlice Garner; his children, Jason Garner and wife Holli of Gulfport, Chris Garner, Angie Barnes and husband Steve of Gulfport; sisters, Phyllis Ammons of Gulfport and Barbara Foster and husband Frank of Princeton, TX; grandchildren, Aprie, Codee, Wendy, Raven, Quint, Addyson and Holden; several nieces and nephews and special church friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2006 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Biloxi River Baptist Church. Services will be Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery.
Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
