Douglas M. Barber, age 74, of Gulfport, passed away on July 15, 2011.
Those preceding Doug in death were his parents Alice Barber and Archie Barber, sisters Saundra and Marlene, brothers William and Jack, and brother-in-law Dennis Tobin. Those left are his close friend Doreen Benson, son Bruce Barber (wife Kellie) of Corpus Christi, TX, son Randy Barber (wife Natalie) of Slidell, LA, sister Dianne (husband Don) Sliefert of Alta, IA, sister Judy Tobin of Denton, TX, sister Nita (husband Gary) Zitzman of Marietta, GA, Suzanne Koehler of Newton, IL, James (wife Syd) Barber of Alta, IA, brother-in-law Ken O'Dell of Marathon, IA, sister-in-law Lucille Barber of Palisade, CO, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to the American Hospice Foundation in memory of Douglas M. Barber.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:45 a.m., July 20, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi, with the graveside service to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 11 am.
