Dorothy "Dottie" Weaver

Dorothy “Dottie” Irene Weaver, age 78, of Saucier, passed away on May 8, 2022.

She was born in Port Arthur, Texas to Dorothy Myrtle Schmidt Herbert and James Milton Herbert.  She moved to the Coast as a young child where she spent most of her life.  She graduated from St. John High School and was of the Catholic faith.  She was very active at the Saucier Senior Citizens Center.  She was an avid gardener and grew and harvested blueberries that she shared with the community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Weaver; her parents; her brothers, William Herbert, Michael Herbert, James Herbert; and granddaughter, Abigayle Bobinger

She is survived by her children, Donna Cuevas (Danny), Lonnie Bobinger, Jr., Rhonda Breland (Jeff), Mark Bobinger (Amy); sister, Carol Ann Falks; grandchildren, Christina Bobinger, Danielle Miller (Andy), Anthony Bobinger, Lindsey Crye (Colby), Lauren Breland, Daryl Bobinger, and Breanna Bobinger; her expected first great grandson, Duncan Anthony Miller; and her faithful canine companions, Prissy and Chico.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 10-11am.  Funeral services will follow at 11am.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, 28th Street, Gulfport.
