Dorothy “Dot” Mae Dedeaux, age 84 and a resident of Stone County, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Viola Holliman; sister, Polly Papania; brothers, James Holliman, Grady Holliman, Mike Holliman, and Tony Holliman; and two great grandchildren, Isaac Smith and Ian Smith.
Dot is survived by her loving husband, Anthon "Sonny" Dedeaux; her children, Patricia (Terry) Smith of Gulfport, MS, David (Pat) Dedeaux, Frinda Dedeaux, all from Perkinston, MS, Eric (Michele) Dedeaux, of Mc Henry, MS, Cassandra (Brian) McQueen, also of Perkinston, MS; brother, Glenn Holliman; grandchildren, Levi (Constance) Dedeaux, Luke Dedeaux, Chris Smith, Heather Smith, Candace (Matt) Craig, Cory (Shelby) Dedeaux, Connor Dedeaux, Erica Dedeaux, Brettley (Laura) McQueen, Brock (Josie) McQueen, Cassidy McQueen, Cianna McQueen; and 16 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Dot enjoyed drinking her coffee, reading and watching westerns, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church in Perkinston, MS.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 12 - 2 pm at Ten Mile Baptist Church, 105 Ten Mile Church Road, Perkinston, MS 39573. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the church. Interment will be in Dedeaux Memorial Cemetery, Perkinston, MS.
