Mrs. Dorothy Thompson Vincent, age 78, resident of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Vincent was born in Mt. Vernon, IL to the late Rodney Thompson and Dora Schellenberger Thompson.
She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and mother, and loved to read. She was a good neighbor and friend, and will be remembered for her generosity and willingness to help and love others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, SMSgt. Donald W. Vincent, USAF, retired; brothers, Alvin, Wilford, and Doyet Thompson; and sisters, Evelyn Trammell and Mildred Hazlip.
She is survived by her three sons, Scott Alan Vincent of Lakewood, CO, Keith Rodney Vincent of Biloxi, and Larry Douglas Vincent of Savannah, GA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi, at 1:45 p.m., where friends may call two hours prior to services.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
