Dorothy Mae Saucier

Dorothy Mae Saucier, age 82, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leatha and Virgil Hester; her sisters, Mary Lois, Vera, Earline, and Ernestine; her brother, George; her niece, Judith Ann and her sister in law, Barbara Quave.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Royce Saucier; her children, Nelson Saucier and Henry Saucier (Tinna); her siblings, Jerome Hester (Betty), and Diane Holmes Hester; her nieces, Rebekah Holmes, Dara Skinner, Beth Ann, Beth Butler (Ed); her nephews, Leonard Holmes, Danny Bartlett and Freeman Bartlett; her grandchildren, Callie Thompkins (Chase), Tiffany Richardson (Chris), and Joshua Saucier; her great grandchildren, Jordan Chapman, Zachary Chapman, Hannah Dobson, Austin Richardson, Chloe Saucier, Makayla Saucier, Harmony Saucier, Cannon and Charlee Thompkins; her great-great grandchild, Greyson Chapman; great niece, Jayden; and great nephew, Nate.          

Dorothy enjoyed playing Bingo and working puzzle books, she loved Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck. She worked at K-mart, West Brothers, and Tasty Donuts. After retiring she was a care sitter. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held from 11am-1pm, Monday, March 6, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, with a service to follow at 1:00PM. Interment will be at Beulah Cemetery.
