Dorothy Rice

Dorothy P. Rice, age 81, of Biloxi, died on August 12, 2007, in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Major George W. Rice, Jr., two sons, Frank Rogan, Jr. and Sonny Rice, her daughter, Susie Sweet, her parents, George Harrison and Rosie Lee Harrison, two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Rice is survived by three children, Marian Bracken, Diane Brazil, and Robert DeLong, all of Houston, TX, two sisters, Carlie Welch of Biloxi, and Margaret Walden of Mobile, AL, six grandchildren, Lacey Bracken, Mandy Zepeda, Andrea Sweet, Jared Sweet, Tracy Johnson, and Chris Cawthon, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was of the Episcopal faith, was an avid animal lover, and loved life.
A Memorial Service will be held at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
