Dorothy E. Quigley, age 81, of Gulfport, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Quigley was born in Carriere, MS and lived most of her life on the coast. She worked as a legal secretary for several firms on the coast. Mrs. Quigley loved gardening and her beloved dogs, Penny and Lil Man.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. ""Eddie"" Quigley, her parents, Eugene and Hattie Spence, and a sister, Josephine Faciane.
Survivors include her children, Linda E. (Michael) Taylor, Marla Jo (Steve) Ellis, Michael E. (Colette) Quigley, and Richard L. Quigley, 2 brothers, William H. Spence and Howard B. Spence, 4 sisters, Bobbie J. Boutwell, Orene Mitchell, Martha L. Pearson, and Virginia C. Loveless, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 9:30 - 11 am. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum.
