Dorothy Theresa Craig Northrop

Dorothy Theresa Craig Northrop, age 80 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Diamondhead.
Mrs. Northrop was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was retired from the Harrison County School System as a cook and was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Gulfport.
Mrs. Northrop is preceded in death by her parents, George & Josephine Barry Craig; her husband, Laden Northrop; her daughter, Jody Self; her son, Donnie Northrop; her sister, Josephine Craig; her brothers, Joe Craig, George Craig, Jr., and Ernest Craig and her granddaughter, Trudy Lynn Northrop.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jo Ann Starratt and Jean (Bud) Rogers all of Pensacola, FL; her seven sons, Dub (Debbie) Northrop of Benton, LA, Ron (Tina) Northrop, Kernie (Dianne) Northrop, Alton (Carol) Northrop, Pete (Linda) Northrop, Bully (Teri) Northrop, and Luke Northrop all of Gulfport; her brother, Angelo Castrogiavonie of Gulfport; 41 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 30 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008, from 6-8pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
