Dorothy Nell Spears Murphy of Vanport, PA age 77, died on Sunday, August 24 at her home.
Born on September 23, 1930 in Gulfport, MS she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Glendora Dubois Spears.
She was preceeded in death by her husband; Norman Murphy in 1979, sisters; Carol Jean Davis, Mildred Thomas Cucurallo, brothers; Senate August Spears and Leslie Thomas. Dorothy retired from Westington house Electric Corp after 18 years of service.
She is survived by daughter; Dian (James) Lagud of Center Township, sons; Skip (Lisa) Clayton of Coraopolis and Paul (Sharon) Clayton of Wilmerding, grandchildern; David Shane (Stacy) Clayton of Ephrata, Cheryl (Joshua) Harris of Washington, DC, Daniel Clayton of Coraopolis, Stephen Lagud of Center Township, Craig and Ryan Lagud, Kevin and Jessica Anderson, Jacob, Timothy and Daniel Anderson of Pittsburgh, great grandchildren; Grace, Elijah, Lydia and Peter Clayton, and Jocelyn Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
